Considering a new Regal? Why buy new when the perfect used vessel is available. Let me tell you about this boat. As to be expected as the flagship of the Regal fleet, it drew a lot of attention when it was in our showroom. It was what everyone wanted and lusted over. Out of all the boats we had in 2016, this is the boat that got everybody's heads turning and made them yearn to move up. Unfortunately nobody in Milwaukee was able to make the move in 2016.
Fast forward to May 2017, a buyer appeared and made a deal. First time big boat buyer, the current owner was on the hunt for 12 months for the right boat. He traveled and viewed dozens of boats before deciding on the 53. Once an offer was on the table, we began the final detailing and dealer prep of the vessel for delivery. What was already a beautiful, well-equipped new vessel suddenly became one of the most labor intensive deliveries I have witnessed. Our buyer went through the boat with the most critical of eyes. We spent hundreds of hours prepping the boat for closing. To most, the boat would have been ready within 20 hours of detailing and prep. This was not the case here. When we delivered this boat in early summer 2017 it was better than new. I would put the finish of this vessel against anything. Beyond just finish, everything was examined, the buyer wanted the boat "as it should have come from the factory." At the dealer level we added options like sound bars (Salon and Bow), changed out new speakers for other new speakers trying to get sound quality just right, we changed out amps, replaced vinyl because tint wasn't correct, added cushions, replaced lighting, changed an air compressor because the sunroof didn't close fast enough, I could go on and on. Eventually the boat was absolutely perfect throughout.
Again, in the marina and on the Milwaukee River it stood out and drew a lot of attention. The new owner was on the boat everyday! Warranty work arose, as they do in every new boat from any manufacturer. After a few initial issues the boat did become a care free vessel for the remainder of the summer. Our customer continued to use the boat regularly and learn about his own boating frequency and style. Turns out he uses the boat way more than he expected to and usually has more guests than expected. So now it's time to jump up a few boat lengths, so this one has to go! If you are considering buying a new boat or slightly used boat, this is THE BOAT. Just a few months ago this boat was bought new and prepped to the most stringent standards. It was then maintained to the same standards for just a few months before being put away for winter storage. It is now being offered to the used market at a significant discount compared to new. Discount aside, this boat was frequently used in a short time which quickly worked out the new boat bugs while maintaining a better than new appearance and condition! What better conditions could you ask for? It's like buying a new boat with the stressful first couple months eliminated. This boat is absolutely immaculate with winter maintenance already performed, it shows as new and will not disappoint.
Now that the current owner has shopped for the next vessel he has truly learned to appreciate what this Regal offers. As a first boat he set the bar high. Many manufacturers do a lot of things well, but when you look at the whole picture Regal really shines. Design and layout, quality build and superior onboard products really sets this boat apart.
The vessel is powered with twin Cummins 6.7L Zeus diesels with joystick (160 hours) and is loaded with the most popular factory options. There is an Extended 5-year transferable warranty on entire boat, not just the engines.
