1999 Ocean Alexander 51 Ocean Alexander Custom Classicco

STURGEON BAY, Wisconsin

$449,000

"Noble House" is a one owner, custom Ed Monk Jr. design, commissioned by a knowledgeable yachtsman with great cruising equipment and accommodations. Continually up-dated she has had outstanding care and maintenance.

The Ocean Alexander Classicco series of long range cruisers includes the 456 model that has an aft cabin and a small cockpit. Ocean Alexander extended the hull and offered it as a 456+3 model with a larger cockpit. "Noble House" was designed with a 51' hull length for a even larger cockpit and lazarette. The keel was also extended for better prop protection.

Completely out fitted and standing "tall" this vessel deserves further consideration. Please review the specifications for more details.

Accommodations

The Ed Monk design has the house set well forward on the hull which provides a very suspicious interior. The two stateroom interior is arranged in the conventional manner with a centerline queen berth aft, a mid level galley, and separate single berths arranged in a "V" forward that also includes a filler. Both heads have stall showers and the teak interior joinery applied throughout the vessel is finished to a very high standard.

The raised lower helm includes a double bench seat covered in white leather with cabinet storage and a U-Line ice maker.. The large "L" shaped lounge settee is also white leather and easily sleeps (2). There is a custom teak hi-low table, teak chair, and leather barrel chair. There is custom carpet with a sound pad over the teak sole. Yamaha stereo and (5) CD amp system has (6) new speakers. A Combo washer/dryer (110 V.) is in a near-by cabinet. There are (3) flat screen TV's with (3) Direct receivers.   A port side door leads to the wide side deck.

The galley is one step down with special cabinets, glass and bottle storage, and under floor storage with a ladder. The stove top is (3) burner 220 V.; the oven is a newer Panasonic 220 V. unit; the refrigerator is a 2015 Norcold 12 V./110V. replacement; the micro-wave is also a convection oven; and there is a garbage disposal.

The large fly-bridge is several easy steps up from the wide side deck and includes a "L" lounge, table, helm chair, "Frigid" 110 V. refrigerator/freezer, and a fixed enclosure with all new (2016) stamoid canvas and 80 ml. isinglass. The wind screen is a 2016 poly- carbonate up-grade.

The aft cockpit is a step down from the deck level and has an aft facing bench seat with storage, a cushion, and a dodger for sun and wind protection. A transom door steps directly to the swim platform.

The boat deck has a hydraulic davit for the RIB inflatable, a deck box for storage, and a cradle for lowering the hinged antenna mast.

The hand rail and rail cap are finished in high gloss varnish. The decks are non-skid with contrasting tan finish. The aft cockpit and swim platform are teak covered.
