Don't let the age fool you, this isn't a dirty, outdated 1980's boat! The Cruis- ers 260 Vee Sport (called the 2660 Vee Sport in 1988-91) enjoyed a good deal of popularity during her long 12-year pro- duction run. Unlike trailerable boats her size, the 266 boasts a wide 10-foot beam, and her raised foredeck design provides a surprising amount of Headroom: below. Note that instead of a traditional midcabin interior, the Vee Sport has a more open floorplan incorporating a quarter berth extending beneath the cockpit sole. An offset double berth is forward, and the full- service galley features a stove and microwave in addition to an under-counter refrigerator and storage drawers. Aside from cosmetic updates (interior decor, helm console, hull graph- ics, etc.), the Cruisers 266 Vee Sport remained relatively un- changed over the years. A fiberglass swim platform, sport arch, and teak bow pulpit were standard. The cockpit-roomy for a 26-footer-seats six in comfort.
